EndNote
Endnote is a Bibliographic database management software that has been specifically designed for storage of citation data.
Available to CQUni students at Rockhampton, Gladstone, Bundaberg, Mackay, Emerald and Noosa campuses
EndNote may only be installed on machines belonging to or under the direct control of the University, and in addition staff or students of the university may also install EndNote on home computers for teaching, administrative and research purposes.
License Terms and Conditions of Use
CQUniversity has a University Site License Agreement for EndNote, which provides the 'right to use' the software for the term of the license agreement.
- The software may be used only while the user is an eligible member of CQUniversity i.e.
- staff currently employed by CQUniversity
- postgraduate and undergraduate students currently enrolled in programs at CQUniversity
- The software may be used by staff and students only at the specifically listed CQUniversity campuses.
- The software may be used at CQUniversity or at your principal residence but is limited to use related to course work, research or other work directly related to your relationship with CQUniversity.
- The software cannot be sold, lent, or given to anyone except eligible members of CQUniversity.
- EndNote is preregistered to the University, so there is no need for you to register directly.
CQUniversity can distribute the Software for on-campus and home use to eligible members of the authorised campus sites listed below:

How do I get the software?
To DOWNLOAD a copy of the software you will need to complete the following steps -
(A Login and password required)
1. Click "AGREE" below to start download (zip file)
2. Click "Open"
3. Please note that these files are zipped.
You must Extract both files (ENX1Inst.msi + License.dat) to a location on your hard drive - any location eg c:\ or MyDocuments
4. Locate your files and double-click ENX1Inst.msi to install

Alternatively, CD MEDIA copies are available. Contact or visit your local IT Client Services Centre / Helpdesk.
You are requested to provide a blank CD for the software to be copied onto. To satisfy the license agreement a record of your Name and Student ID will be recorded.
